About Me
PERSONAL NOTES
Hi, I’m Savanna! I’m a UI/UX designer currently based in Georgia, USA. I’m currently the Director of User Experience at AMC Health.
My lifelong love for design and psychology led me to discover UX design, and it’s been a perfect fit! I love doing research with users to find out how they think and how to make products better. And I love to turn my findings into charts and reports in PowerPoint to share them with a team to help get everyone on the same page. I also enjoy turning UX research into UI designs, with usability and accessibility in mind.
But what I enjoy most of all is collaborating with a team to make something amazing. By communicating frequently, establishing a good feedback loop, and being flexible, I have been able to complete several projects that I’m very proud of.

EXPERIENCE
AMC HEALTH- Director of User Experience
I am responsible for leading the user research and UI design for all of AMC Health’s products. My responsibilities include analyzing and optimizing existing products for improved accessibility and usability. I also research and design UX optimized new products to best serve the customers, patients, and the business. And I provide an intermediary between business stakeholders and the development team, writing functional requirements for the developers and serving as a UX guide in the development of front-end UI and back-end APIs.
A CULTIVATED NEST- UX DESIGNER
I was the primary UI/UX designer at A Cultivated Nest from 2015-2021. I led the big website redesign in 2015 and helped add a free resource library and ecommerce shop.
THE DIGITAL DOWNLOAD SHOP- OWNER

Since 2012, I have been the owner, lead graphic designer, and lead UX designer of The Digital Download Shop. I led the new Shopify website launch through several iterations, and developed the website’s design systems. I also led a team of freelancers consisting of graphic designers and content writers
Freelance Illustrator + 2D Animator
From 2012-2015 I was a freelance illustrator and created artwork and character concept art for individuals and companies. I also made small 2D animations for companies to use in marketing and educational videos.
